Your ATV Committee has met and completed the new ORV Handbook.
As Members of Lake Trask and Riders ourselves, we felt the need to add to, elaborate
and /or extend some of the existing Rules and Regulations. There is no more guessing.
It is clear and easy to understand. Upon the Boards approval, I will post them in the next
newsletter. Until approved, you are still under the existing ORV handbook.
Your ATV Committee members are: Sharlene Bilderback, Larry Fogel (firstname.lastname@example.org),
on C1 loop. Thomas Sullins (email@example.com), on C1 loop. Mario Rossi
& AlohaRossi (firstname.lastname@example.org), B3 loop. Gary Letzring
(email@example.com) on B5 loop, Ruben Reyes (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The purpose of the ATV Committee is to act as your Liaison between the Board
and fellow members. Riders will now have a place to turn to, should you have questions
or comments about the riding in or around Lake Trask and or Burn Ban situations.
Your Committee Members have been there for years and are familiar with the surrounding trails.
They know the ORV Rules and Regulations and will be able to assist you. For all
non- riding Members, We as a Committee are your Liaison between the riders.
You are encouraged to contact one of the above Committee members should you have
concern or complaint. We are dedicated to ensuring the Riding Handbook Rules and
Regulations are adhered to. As a Committee, we will address each and every concern
and will be working closely with the Board. A reminder to all Riders... if you haven't
completed our Release of Liability Form yet, we strongly urge you to do this.
This will be an enforceable violation. All Forms shall be filed in the office with your
site number clearly listed. I have included a copy of your Release of Liability Forms
in this News Letter.
Does your bike display a Placard 2"X 4", with your site number? These Rules are in
the ORV handbook. If you don't want to use a placard, put a piece of tape on
your bike with your site number... put something. It's required in
the handbook. Since the Rear Gate has been installed, we have had NO
complaints of unauthorized vehicles in the park.
Thank you to all that helped to put up the gate and the donations that were collected.
Now we must start planning for the Card Reader System to be attached. This again,
will require donations to do this. For those of you who missed out on donating for
the Gate, this is your second chance. We need your help. Be a part of this... Donate in
the office to the ATV Fund.
Happy Trails, Sharlene Bilderback/ATV (email@example.com )
